Winning Government Contracts: The First Steps

This introductory 3-hour seminar is an overview of the critical first steps associated with winning government contracts. The Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MO PTAC) host a monthly seminar on how to get started in the government contracting arena including federal, state and local government registrations and certifications. The seminar will also cover MO PTAC services available to assist Missouri businesses in all aspects of government contracting. Living a Healthy Life with Diabetes in Warsaw (Session 5 of 6)

This course is designed for help people who have diabetes or individuals who care for someone who has diabetes to become better self-managers of their condition. This program will consist of six sessions each lasting 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Participants will learn to plan healthful meals with balanced carbohydrates, learn more about the benefits of physical activity, discuss blood sugar highs and lows, and how to communicate more effectively with health professionals. Participants will receive a free book and weekly prizes!

The Master Gardener program serves as a valuable and reliable source of horticultural and environmental information and expert volunteer service in Missouri. The Stay Strong, Stay Healthy Program is an evidence-based strength training program designed to meet the fitness needs of older adults and middle age sedentary adults. It is an eight-week program, where participants are guided through a strength training routine two times per week. The event will be held in the Kempton Room at the Fred E.
