Master Beekeeping "Beginning Beekeeping"

When:  Saturday, May 6, 2017, 8:30 p.m. to noon

Description:

The is the first course of the newly developed Certified Master Beekeeper curriculum through the University of Missouri. It is designed for all levels of interest parties to start beekeeping. This class will focus on the principles of beekeeping. Experienced beekeepers can test up through the first two levels of the program if they have three or more years of experience. This class is for any individual interested in learning beekeeping. There is no minimum age for the program, but children age 12 and younger may find examination questions difficult.

Tractor Supply Co Paper Clover Campaign (Session 2 of 2)

When:  Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 8 a.m. to Sunday, May 7, 2017, 9 a.m.

Description:

Come to the TSC store and support the 4-H program by buying a paper clover for $1. Youth will be in the store at various times to talk about 4-H and help customers. 60% of all paper clover money sold in the Cape Girardeau store is returned to the county program to support 4-H Camp.

Christian County 4-H 2nd Annual Pie & Dessert Auction

When:  Saturday, May 6, 2017, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Description:

This is our annual fundraiser. 4-H Clubs participate by bringing donated/homemade desserts to auction off. There is also a soup and chili dinner before the auction goes live. The money raised will help pay for 4-H fair premiums, recognition items and event scholarships for the 4-H year.
