Greene County MU Extension is one of the participating organizations that can benefit from your online donations. Your gift funds research-based, low-cost, educational programs that help to improve the lives of 45,000 or more county residents every year. No part of your donation goes to salaries at Greene County MU Extension. But your donation can make a big difference in the lives of your neighbors. This year we have a goal to raise $5,000 to fund free attendance for owners of Century Farms in Greene County at our annual Century Farms education and awards banquet. (There are 110 productive farms in this county that have remained in the same family for over 100 years) This is an important event as we work to encourage families to stay in agriculture and producing food locally. Other examples, your gift can ... sponsor the owners of a Century Farm to annual event ... $50 provide a month's supply of copy paper for the office - $100 office postage for a month - $125 sponsor a family table for honorees at our annual Century Farm dinner - $150 a community educational program related to gardening or beekeeping - $200 an agriculture event, tour or farm tour - $250 our office operations and programming for two days - $500  more...
