This program helps divorced and separated parents learn how to support their children through the divorce process and how to work together in co-parenting their children. Focus on Kids satisfies the Missouri law that requires parents who are divorcing or filing a motion to modify the original divorce decree, or who have never been married but have filed a child custody case, to attend an educational parenting program.

Cooking Matters at the Store (Virtual)

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy - Level 1 (Session 4 of 16)

Description:
Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase independent living older adults; access to a safe, structured, and effective strength-training program. Over eight weeks, participants learn exercises to improve strength, flexibility and balance. At each class, a prescribed set of eight upper and lower body strengthening exercises are done along with warm-up and cool-down stretches. Participants are made to feel comfortable regardless of their current fitness level so they can safely participate and gradually build the strength beneficial to health.
Session topic:
Warm-up, 8 strength training exercises, and a cool-down including stretches and deep breathing.

Missouri Show Me Quality Assurance (Session 1 of 2)

SMQA training is required for all 4-H and FFA livestock participants to exhibit at the SEMO District Fair and the MO State Fair: beef, dairy, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, rabbits. Youth ages 8 to13 by January 1 of the program year should participate in two consecutive years of the training. A refresher course must be taken once youth have turned 14 by January 1 of the program year. If you need to check the status of your SMQA training please contact the Extension Office.
