In order to enroll in the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy Level 2 program, you must have completed the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy-Level 1 program at least twice. Description:

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase independent living older adults’ access to a safe, structured, and effective strength-training program. Over eight weeks, participants learn exercises to improve strength, flexibility and balance. At each class, a prescribed set of eight upper and lower body strengthening exercises are done along with warm-up and cool-down stretches. Participants are made to feel comfortable regardless of their current fitness level so they can safely participate and gradually build the strength beneficial to health.

A Matter of Balance - Marshall YMCA (Session 2 of 8)

Award winning program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase the activity levels of older adults who have concerns about falls. Participants learn how to view falls and the fear of falling as something controllable over the course of eight two-hour sessions. Sessions include videos, discussion, and activities. Participants learn and practice exercises that increase strength, flexibility and balance.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), often referred to as Obamacare, is the most sweeping health-policy change since Medicare was established in 1965. Congress passed the law in 2010, and the Supreme Court declared it to be constitutional in 2012.

If you buy a plan in the Health Insurance Marketplace, you may get help from the government to pay for your premiums. The amount of help you get, called a premium tax credit, is based on how much money you earn in a year.

Helps divorced and separated parents learn how to support their children through the divorce process and how to work together in co-parenting their children.  Focus on Kids satisfies the Missouri law that requires parents who are divorcing or filing a motion to modify the original divorce decree, or who have never been married but have filed a child custody case, to attend an educational parenting program.
