Living a Healthy Life with Diabetes in Warsaw (Session 4 of 6)

Description:
This course is designed for help people who have diabetes or individuals who care for someone who has diabetes to become better self-managers of their condition. This program will consist of six sessions each lasting 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Participants will learn to plan healthful meals with balanced carbohydrates, learn more about the benefits of physical activity, discuss blood sugar highs and lows, and how to communicate more effectively with health professionals. Participants will receive a free book and weekly prizes!
Session topic:
In session 4 participants will discuss difficult emotions, reading nutrition labels, endurance activities, guided imagery, and action plans.
