Community Arts - St. Louis Storytelling Festival at Affton White Rodgers Community Center (Session 1 of 2)

Description:

The St. Louis Storytelling Festival, a program of the MU Extension Community Arts Development Program, fosters community learning and development through the sharing of historical, personal and community-based stories. World-class, award-winning storytellers are scheduled to perform at schools, libraries, historical sites, museums, parks, detention centers, hospitals, and other community locations to enliven the learning content at each of these sites.

Session topic:

As part of the St. Louis Storytelling Festival, participants will hear stories of history and community from professional storytellers.

Registration:

Public events are mostly free and open to the public. Some events have a ticketed price, and tickets can be purchased through the venue website or per specific registration information. Workshops are free, but pre-registration is required. Generally, registration is handled through the workshop venue.
