Self-Directed Extension Teams

If you are part of a committee, task force, or "team" and are interested in operating at higher levels of effectiveness and with greater program and administrative recognition and support, begin taking steps to become a highly functioning Self-Directed Extension Team.

The first steps are to become familiar with the definition of a MU Self-Directed Extension Team (SD E-Team). Then, become familiar with the Boundary Conditions for SD E-Teams.

A variety of resources are available for you to use in getting started. A Self-Directed Team is not always the best approach to achieving outcomes! For technical assistance and support in your process of assessing your groups current strengths potential, and in deciding what configuration would be best for your group, contact either of the Extension Team Development coaches listed below
